A Harry Potter Sketchdump

Another sketchdump~ This time it's featuring everyone's favorite wizard...no not Merlin...no not Gandalf....it's Harry freakin' Potter!

So yeah some of these are pretty old, you know the drill. Just never got to posting/fleshing out these sketches so I'm posting them here and now.

From left to right, up to down:

-0-Furthest left/strip comic: This was actually my idea of Snape seeing a toddler Harry or something. But it starts off with Snape waiting in Dumbledore's office and him accusing Dumbles of 'checking up' on Harry. (I think he would've just checked in with Mrs. Figg...I'm still under the impression that Dumbles couldn't have known of the atrocious childhood Harry was sent in knowingly...even if it all was for 'the greater good'...the alternative would mean Dumbledore was truly cold, but I digress) Later in the comic Dumbledore asks Snape why he doesn't see the kid himself, and he does later on. Which follows a cute interaction with grumpy Snape and adorably cute toddler Harry. Of course this is an abandoned idea..but if anyone is interested I may continue.

I'm mainly just proud Dumbledore looked so well in that first panels (except number three...he looks ugly and not 'cute as an old man.')

-0-Ron (second-year)- I don't know, just a quick sketch of Ron while me and my friend Kelly were watching Chamber of Secrets one night. I just imagine Rupert Grint's scared "Harry" voice when they confront the spiders.

-0-Tonks and Harry (Honks!)- lol I ship/delve into so many HP pairings it's crazy. But really this picture of them can be seen as platonic if that floats your boat. I love Tonks <3

-0-Charlie Weasley and Harry with a baby dragon- Yeah, crazy ships are us (even the boy love ones). But again, can be seen as platonic if you want. I'm mostly just proud of that baby dragon. B]

-0-Snape, Lily, and James' school years- Due to my friend Shelby's interest in this threesome, it rubbed off on me. I imagine James said something inappropriately funny which caused Lily to laugh all embarrassed-like, and Sev to say "you nasty git". ha ha. It would've been an interesting scenario if they were all friends with their personalities.

-0-Luna and Neville dancing at the Weasley wedding- Oh my gosh, so proud of this drawing. If I were to complete something on here it would be them. Love Luna's hair and dress and just being cute with Neville~ squee! If only I had the time~

-0-Slytherin girl- Generally. It was supposed to be my friend Kelly in a cool Slytherin attire (she's so awesome, she even gets a cape) but it didn't really turn out looking like her. I still like the drawing though and the snake accessories

-0-Snape and Harry (mentor/parental relationship)- you know those fics; where Snape, the unassuming potions master, witnesses the atrocities that are Harry's -abusive- childhood, and he decides that he'll protect him from this day (albeit putting on a begrudging demeanor) no matter what because he realizes he's Lily's son and...and...FLUFF! Yes. I went and read those fics. And as further bonus, I tried to draw it in Disney style. lol enjoy.

-0-Bottom two of the right most section are Luna and Severus- Yep that pairing too. It's actually quite cute. I mean you can still have it as a teacher/student relation where Luna -being very attuned to people's emotions/appearances- actually sees what Snape has to go through, and just by being her odd self she can cheer up the potions master, or does something else to show she cares. (if you read a fic about how she leaves him woolen socks for his birthday...yeah you know the cuteness is there)

In these pictures you have Luna, as she is in most of her potions classes, using her wand in unorthodox, but effective, ways. Snape just doesn't know what to say anymore to the unique Ravenclaw (I really like Luna. No one should diss her)

On the bottom picture, Luna has dropped her textbooks (either by accident or bullying) and Snape begrudgingly assists her because he can kinda understand being in her shoes (Aww!)

Ha ha so that's this Harry Potter sketchdump. I'll probably still be drawing Harry Potter fanart for years to come, so look out for the next sketch dump~
